How to build Clodbuster to Cold-Pimp

I upgraded my stock Clodbuster to new version of crawler that could provide the center chassis clearance and simplicity. I needed to build my clod to Pimp Competition Clod based crawler that chassis looked like The Stick Chassis but isn’t required Shock and other Arm Link between Gear boxes to main chassis, easy to build and good for climb to every terrain. Her name is “I-Clod”.

Material:

1. Clodbuster Gear Boxs
2. Aluminum tube, c-shape tube 15 mm. width (I bought from Homepro Shop: 180 Baht for 3 meters long).
3. Novak Super Rooster Speed Control
4. Hitec HS-645MG for Front Steering
5. 55T Motor, Team Matrix
6. Motor adapter from RC4WD
7. 8T Pinion from RC4WD
8. 3PK Remote Control
9. 23 mm. Wheels Adapter from Jewa Racing
10. Proline Moab Tires 40 Series

Step#1 : Prepare parts for Clod-Pimp version.

Step#2 : Make frame for Clod pimp ,cut the aluminum tube to 19.5 inch long. And make the holes(2) at end of 19.5-tube, 1 inch from end of 19.5-tube. Wheel base of Clod-Pimp is 17.5 inch. Diameter of holes is 3 mm .

Step#3 : Installed 19.5 tube with Clodbuster gear boxes (Front and rear).

Recommendation :

1. Change/reverse the steering arms to inside, it can increase clearance of front and rear side.

2. Make the rotation plate at front and rear gear box. It can increase stability of the Clod-Pimp.

Step#4: Install front and rear servo.

Step#5 : Wiring for Speed control and motors(front and rear).
